RomaKana

It sometimes happens that you are working at a computer which isn't set up for entering Japanese characters. In a situation like this you cannot use useful online dictionaries such as the WaDoku. Furthermore, searching the web for Japanese expressions is, to say the least, difficult.
To take care of these situations I wrote a Romaji->Kana conversion engine. It requires a browser which can display unicode and has Javascript enabled. I recommend to use the browse mode where RomaKana is displayed in the left frame, and the right frame is divided vertically into two frames. Into the field displayed in the upper one of those two you can enter a site which will then be displayed in the frame below (e.g. http://www.wadoku.de). Nevertheless, the standard mode is available as well if you prefer it that way.
Please keep in mind that RomaKana is still in development. From time to time I will update its functionality, look and feel, etc. If you want to make some suggestions to improve it or report errors you encountered, feel free to drop me a mail at this address.
RomaKana's browse mode is online here, RomaKana in standard mode can be accessed here. If you want to use it offline as well, download the zipped version.
